Does it matter if you are ready or not? Being prepared does have its advantages and gets you in the zone for whatever one is anticipating. For examples, a job interview for your dream job, before a first date, or a presentation. There is an illusion that if you are ready things will turn out to be fine because we have the control of the situation. There is that illusion that you have the control. If a really great opportunity is shown, then why not take it? Because in true when the opportunity passes there will be nothing but regret. Even if we have the illusion that the event will turn out to be okay there is no guarantee that it will be exactly what we hope for. The idea of opportunities are to learn more about yourself and what you are capable of. The emotions are there in the moment. In our head it feels like an eternity but when the hump is over the feeling banishes because we are safe. The world is so much more abundant and safer. If you are worried about the thoughts of the person in the event such as a boss, client or family member. The reality is that they will never remember the mess up because to be frank every person we pass in life will pass and we will never see them again. So, kid make mistakes and take chances.
